Project Summary
The Executive Conference Room was planned and constructed for the best collaboration experience possible. IVCi designed a comprehensive solution that includes a One Beyond System with its automatic camera switching feature and multiple displays strategically placed throughout the room. The intention was to create a set up that is tailored to meet the evolving needs of the workplace, particularly with return to office environments.
The One Beyond System’s speaker tracking option is a special feature that is part of the overall design of the room and is pivotal in ensuring that every participant is seen and heard clearly. This system shifts the focus based on who is speaking, creating a more natural and engaging meeting experience. With the need for manual camera adjustments gone, the meeting remains uninterrupted and allows participants to focus on their discussions.
Project Highlights
This project consisted of several interesting pieces of technology, including six Crestron One Beyond Automatic Camera Switching Solution (1 of the 6 cameras is a Presenter Tracking Camera), two Future Automation Hideaway Display Mounts, and 86” LG touch display setup as Zoom Companion Whiteboard.
The Presenter Tracking Camera is particularly beneficial for this set up as it allows for seamless camera transitions, automatically focusing on active speakers or presenters, and ensuring everyone in the room is clearly seen and heard. This allows all active users to feel engaged in the meeting and provides the ability to focus less on the technology and more on the meeting at hand.
The two Future Automation Hideaway Display Mounts are designed to conceal the displays when not in use, maintaining a clean and uncluttered room aesthetic. The client has a large panel of windows in this meeting space, so while the displays are not in use they can be hidden. When deployed, these displays provide high-quality video feeds and presentations, enhancing the visual experience for all participants.
The 86’ LG touch display has been set up as a Zoom Companion Whiteboard. This touch display serves as an interactive tool for brainstorming sessions, presentations, and collaborative work, allowing participants to interact with digital content in real time.
These pieces of technology work together as a cohesive unit in order to improve meeting dynamics, creating a productive and engaging meeting environment.
